GradMAP Philippines is a 501(c) non-profit that aims to provide mentorship to aspiring scientists in the Philippines. We are entirely volunteer-run and rely on donations (mostly from already underpaid grad students) to keep the lights on. Volunteer to be a mentor here and/or donate here.

The Purple Urchins Removal Project (PURP) aims to help restore NorCal’s declining kelp forests by removing overgrazing purple urchins. All data are carefully logged and reported back to NOAA.
